MEMBER SERVICES TEAM Piyush Gadkari – Member Services Communication Manager Not only is Piyush responsible for our effective communications and ensuring we offer the best service in India to our members, but is also the qualified diver on the team and loves anything to do with water! However he has also developed a thirst for great wines and enjoys reading and learning more on a daily basis. His favourite pour is an Old World red. Vijay Wagela & Sanjay Wagela – Member Services Executives Always ready to assist you on the end of the WSI Help Line, Vijay and Sanjay want every member of The Wine Society of India to feel welcome to call should he/she have any wine related matters that they wish to discuss. Both enjoy staying ‘connected via the internet’ so if you prefer, you can reach them on our e-mail address! Vijay prefers a red wine to a white wine, but brother Sanjay enjoys the Laroche Viognier! Agnel Chettiar, Shrikant Dongre, Suzette Dcruz, and Myles Mayall Our Member Services team is growing! Joining Vijay and Sanjay to ensure our members receive excellent customer service, four new Member Services Executives have joined the team. After a tough game of football, Agnel likes to nurse his bruises by strumming on his guitar and enjoying an Italian Super Tuscan, Brancia Tre. No doubt because it gives him the strength to get out there on the field once again! Shrikant spends his time after hours catching up on his reading of spiritual books. He also has a real sweet tooth and always looks forward to finishing a meal so he can enjoy a lovely Late Harvest dessert wine. Suzette likes nothing more than curling up with a good novel and a cool glass of white wine: make that a Chardonnay! You will recognize Myles when he answers your calls as his British accent is hard to hide! A true adventurer, Myles loves to travel to the most unlikely places such as Serbia, Iran and Afghanistan - but he always hopes to find a beautiful glass of wine from the Rhone Valley at the end of his rainbow. MEMBER BENEFITS TEAM Kris Engle – Member Benefits & HR Manager Responsible for ensuring exciting and exclusive benefits for members of The Wine Society of India, Kris finds her hotel background helpful, especially when it comes to planning the wine tasting events. Nothing is more satisfying to Kris after a successful event than to crack open a Chilean merlot! Rebecca D’Souza – Member Benefits Executive Providing assistance to ensure that WSI continues to develop additional member benefits, you can often hear the giggle of Rebecca in the office – working hard but enjoying life at the same time! Rebecca is finding the world of wine fascinating and has decided her favourite wine is “anything that is open”! OPERATIONS TEAM Milind Pandit – National Operations Manager Have you ever seen someone's face light up when they smile? - that's Milind, who is responsible for ensuring our operations run smoothly across the entire country. So when he is happy, we are happy! When not sorting out issues at work,Milind enjoys his music along with a glass of Bordeaux - the older the better! Nirmala Pareek – Member Services Operations Manager You can thank Nirmala for ensuring that your wines arrive in an efficient manner. Dedicated to the task and always the first one in the office, when she does find a moment to herself, she picks up a good book. Nirmala enjoys matching the great bouquet of a wine with a complementary choice of food! Paresh Waghela – Operations Assistant Helping Nirmala ensure your wines reach you safely, Paresh quietly gets on with this work in the office and is gently beginning to learn about the world of wines. BUT, after hours, a good game of cricket brings out the ‘wild side’ of Paresh. |
