The Lesser Known Wonderful World of Wines

Time and again, alcohol and wine have been miserably confused with each other as one and the same thing. Reflecting upon the literally poor public awareness about wine in general and wine appreciation/ wine tasting in particular, wine lovers have been led to take up the cause solemnly and venture into joining hands together, to unfold the best of  colors, aromas and tastes of wines to the world.

It definitely has alcohol, but the ingredient content is low. A rich ruby color or a pale but stimulating Gold takes over the shapely goblet, with aroma of fresh juicy fruits and taste that tingles the mind and body to exhilaration and thrust for more.  Under consideration is a brew that has been the epicenter of the Iranian or Persian poetry from thousands of years. Studies have revealed that the first wine production came from sites in Iran and Georgia, from as early as 6000 BC. Though Islam stringently abhors alcohol yet wine retains its charm and elegance in this region.

Usually Wine is made by fermenting smashed grapes or other fruits or vegetables using various types of yeast, which absorb the sugar present in grapes or fruits and transform them into alcohol. Chiefly, wine is classified into Red wines and White wines; however the categorization of wine depends on the region of cultivation as well, such as German wine, Australian wine and Californian wine. Few commonly used wines are Appetizer wines, Sparkling wines, Rose wines, Dessert wines and Table wines. Based on ingredient, Wine(s) classification also goes like Apple wine, Barley wine, Rice wine, Ginger wine, Dry wine et al. Chardonnay, Grenache, Pinot Blanc, and Merlot are few of the various varieties of grapes that are cultivated in different parts of the world and produce equally varied types of delightful red or white wines.

Beyond doubt, wine is a beloved alcoholic beverage of the world. Alcohol(s) is upheld as an endowment by Christianity and wine in particular enjoys a domineering presence across its history and present. Special warehouses cherish ages old wine glass bottles corked tight to preserve the magnetic and unique aromas, tastes and beautiful bubbly shades of red, pink, pale yellow and gold. Champagne, the sparkling wine, is almost taken as a synonym for celebration time in any part of the world. The wide assortment of Wine classifications, each exclusive and memorable in its own right, render a wholesome world of wine to be discovered and explored.

Surprising as it may sound to the ignorant, wine appreciation is an art mastered by very few. Selecting wine needs lessons and there are many online and offline programmes across the globe, running to inform, educate and reply all about the exquisite and evasive world of Wine. There are wine societies that endeavor to propagate wine appreciation in the true sense of the word and identify the finest quality of wines for the best price for their international customers. Regular wine tasting events are organized by these societies and wine study courses being conducted. There are helplines to entertain queries on alcohol(s) and wine(s), newsletters for reading more about global vineyards and plethora of information online in terms of articles, websites and encyclopedias.

I have just received the Divali gift packs notice and I have to say they are very expensive for what they are. You have in the Rs 3450 pack 2 bottles at over 1600 per bottle and a couple of packs of chocs worth Rs 70 each.
Frankly Steven its not right. If you are fgoing to put in chocs make them worth while even if your profit on them in nil because that will endure you to the members-who needs a booklet ,why waste monry on that in stead lower the wine price. I know duty is hefty and all that but its a lot to pay for couple of medest wines. Niether of them are mind blowing.
Please re think the marketing as I feel at Xmas you should do well if you price it right.
Wish you best fro what you are trying to do.
