This comes from the Rapel Valley, Alto Cachapoal region of Chile and is bursting with ripe black berry, damson & spice aromas.Carmenere is a clone of Merlot unique to Chile. Intense fruit flavors & velvety tannins make this an exceptional wine. Delicious with red & white meat, pasta & cheese.

Le Bonheur Sauvignon Blanc 2007 - South Africa

This 163-hectare estate with the optimistic name of Le Bonheur ("Happiness") is situated along the slopes of the Klpamuts Hill of the Simonsberg Mountain, in the Stellenbosch Wine of Origin district. Le Bonheur has a brilliant colour with a greenish tint. A powerful nose with tropical fruit, grapefruit, passion fruit & mango, all the flavors percieved on the nose carry through to the palate, particularly the tropical fruit, to create the lively amalgam of flavours.

Chapel Hill's winery, vineyards and historic chapel (1865) are set in a patchwork of olive groves, vineyards, orchards and native bush in the rolling hills overlooking the sea. McLaren Vale is widely recognized as one of the world's leading Shiraz regions because it produces fruit with unique characters and flavours. This Shiraz is deep garnet red in colour with an enormously rich mouth-filling palate that boasts style, structure and substance. Luscious black fruits, dark chocolate and fine tannins, and then a very long finish. Will make new friends.
