Tasting Reports

The Wine Society of India tastes several hundred wines per quarter to ensure that you receive the best possible quality wines at modest prices. While these tastings often happen a bottle or two at a time, on occasion we receive a selection of bottles for which we hold official tastings. Tastings are done by a panel that includes wine experts and Wine Society of India staff.

In addition, the Chairman of our Board of Wine Advisors, Steven Spurrier – the world-famous wine authority - is also hard at work in London, tasting hundreds of wines with the same objective – “exceptional wines at modest prices”.

The scores reflected in these tastings are the average ratings given by those present at the tastings. We use the classic 20-point scale to score our wines.

These are some of our tasting reports:

March 13th - South African Wine Tasting
April 30 - Mixed Range Tasting
May 13th - Mixed Range Tasting
May 29th - Reveilo and Anakena Tastings
